The POD Saddlebags 52L – Stormproof are engineered with built-in EVA foam panels that reinforce the side walls of the bags. This semi-rigid construction helps the bags hold their shape even when empty, preventing sagging. The result is a cleaner appearance, easier packing and unpacking, and better stability on the motorcycle especially at higher speeds or over rough terrain. This form factor ensures your gear stays secure and your setup always looks sharp.
The POD Saddlebags 52L – Stormproof are equipped with premium YKK fittings, including D-rings, quick release buckles, and zippers, all designed for durability and long-lasting performance. The large D-rings at the center bridge and custom gloves-friendly zipper pullers ensure easy, reliable use, even in challenging conditions.
The width-adjustable centre bridge allows the POD Saddlebags 52L – Stormproof to fit perfectly on your motorcycle, adapting to the specific rear seat width for a secure, customised fit.
The POD Saddlebags 52L – Stormproof, are equipped with 2 independent internal dry bags. The dry bags have a roll-top closure and precision heat sealed seams that ensure zero ingress of water and keep your stuff dry*.
The internal roll-top dry bags are rated Stormproof, not Waterproof. The dry bags will keep your stuff 100% dry through rain. However, the dry bags are not submersible, and your stuff is prone to get wet if dry bags are submerged under water.
For the best Stormproof performance, we highly recommend minimum 3 folds of the roll-top closure of the internal dry bags.
The POD Saddlebags 52L – Stormproof, come with muck covers, intended to keep the shell free of muck, dust and grime. The job of keeping your stuff dry is done by the internal detachable stormproof drybags.
