Purposeful Design

The Boreal has been designed to be the best midlayer in terms of performance. The 3 layer fabric used makes it a versatile piece of equipment that will find a place in your gear list for any ride

Cold Protection

The brushed fleece used as the inner layer helps trap the body heat, providing warmth and comfort when the sun is low over the horizon. This also allows the Boreal to be your go-to destination jacket during your rides

Rain Protection

The Durable Water Resistant (DWR) coating on the outer fabric enables the Boreal to keep you dry in slight drizzles. We recommend that you use one of our dedicated rain layers for anything more than a slight drizzle.

Snug Cuff

The cuff on the Boreal is cut snug to seal out the cold while the 4 way stretch fabric used makes it secure and comfortable to use.

Full Zip Jacket

The full length main zipper on the Boreal makes it easy to wear or take off without the need to take the helmet off.

Stand-up Collar

The Boreal has a stand-up collar for better protection from wind blast encountered during rides.

Slider garage

The slider garage on the Boreal enhances the comfort factor by preventing the zipper slider from rubbing against your neck.

The Boreal uses low profile stitching to reduce bulk for more comfortable use as a mid layer

How To Measure Size For Jacket

Things to keep in mind to ensure the measurements are taken correctly –

It will be helpful to have a family member or a friend take the measurements – Please use flexible tape only, like a tailor’s tape – All the measurements must be in the same units, whether cm or inches

STEP 1 –

Measure using a tailor’s tape There are two key measurements that you need to take into consideration for figuring out your jacket size.

A) Chest – Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of the chest and do not inhale while taking the measurement. Tape measure over your chest should be comfortable i.e. not too tight or loose. Keep your arms loose on the sides, and breathe in normally.

B) Waist – Measure the circumference of your waist over the belly button. Keep the tape parallel to the ground, not too loose or too tight.

STEP 2 –

Find your jacket size by checking measurements against the size chart provided – If both the measurements do not fall in one particular size – use the larger of the two measures to choose the jacket size. – If the two measurements are on the border line between two sizes, choose the one that offers a preferred fit i.e. sporty fit (lower size) or comfort fit (higher size) depending on your preference. Remember, each brand has its own body size charts, so do check the chart before you select the size.

Fitment

If you wish to wear the Boreal inside a riding jacket, please ensure there is adequate space & is not tight fitting.

You can check this by wearing the Boreal with the riding jcaket and stretching your arms out in the riding position to confirm there is no noticeable pulling at the shoulders and the torso area.
